Our vision is to plant a church centered on Jesus that declares and demonstrates the gospel of grace for the glory of God and the good of our city.
Our vision is driven by three core values: GOSPEL | COMMUNITY | MISSION
Jesus changes everything. We were created to live for God but because of sin we have all lived for ourselves, seperated from God and unable to please Him. The gospel is the "good news" of Jesus' life, death and resurrection that secures salvation for everyone who believes in Him. What Jesus did on the cross not only restores sinners to God, it also restores us to each other and continues to transform every area of our lives. The gospel is the central focus of everything we do.
Jesus gives us a new identity. Through the gospel we have become children of God and are adopted into His family - the church. The church is a community of people changed by the gospel who live lives that show the world who Jesus is and what He has done. It is in community that we grow as Jesus' disciples and show others what it means to follow Him.
Jesus gives us a new focus. He calls us to His mission of making disciples by declaring and displaying His gospel of grace. This happens as we follow Jesus, working, eating and interacting with people in our city. Every disciple is vital to the mission - there is no side-line in the church. All believers are called to live their lives, sent by Jesus, to make disciples.
"And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20
